Sephora in São Paulo (JK Iguatemi) seeks a full-time Sales Supervisor — affirmative-action opening for Black candidates to lead service, operations and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and assume full managerial responsibilities in their absence or when delegated.
- Lead daily customer service operations for the assigned world/section, ensuring exceptional client experiences and consistent application of Sephora service standards.
- Manage people-related activities within the team: coaching, performance management, scheduling and basic HR processes.
- Drive sales performance and profitability for the assigned area, monitoring KPIs and executing action plans to hit targets.
- Ensure operational compliance with company policies, visual and merchandising standards, and the Sephora cultural principles.
- Perform point-of-sale duties and operate the cash register when required.
- Provide cosmetic product application and demonstrations to clients and train team members on product usage and service techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail supervisory/management experience; experience in beauty or cosmetics retail preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication and proven customer-service orientation.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Practical knowledge of cosmetic product application.
- Availability and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proactive, committed profile with strong teamwork, ethics and results orientation.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office is desirable; foreign language skills are a plus.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in retail, ideally within the beauty or personal-care sector, with a demonstrated track record of coaching teams and achieving sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education (college/university) preferred.
