Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and directly oversee customer service, sales operations, staff performance and day-to-day functions for an assigned section of the store.
- Drive sales and KPI achievement through coaching, visual execution and hands-on selling.
- Ensure consistent adherence to Sephora’s concepts, service standards and corporate policies across the assigned area.
- Act as Store Manager in their absence and accept delegated managerial responsibilities when required.
- Recruit, onboard and develop team members; deliver regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Manage operational tasks including cash handling, point-of-sale operation, stock replenishment and shift coordination.
- Provide expert advice and perform cosmetic product application for clients when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with dress code, store procedures and loss-prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; university degree desirable.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in retail, services or a beauty environment is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and strong customer-service orientation.
- Demonstrable ability to coach, motivate and lead a retail team to achieve targets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Practical knowledge of cosmetic products and ability to perform product application.
- Professional presentation and commitment to Sephora’s brand standards.

Experience
Prior experience supervising or managing in retail or service environments is desirable; candidates with initial leadership experience in beauty retail will be considered.
Education
High school diploma required; tertiary education (business, retail management, or related) preferred.
