Sephora seeks a Sales Supervisor in Curitiba, Brazil to lead store operations and manage customer service teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support and assist the store manager in daily operations and strategic initiatives
- Directly manage customer service quality and process compliance across the assigned department
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members; manage performance and HR-related functions
- Ensure strict adherence to Sephora brand concepts, culture, and company policies
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions when necessary
- Apply and demonstrate product knowledge; provide expert beauty advice and consultations to customers
- Maintain compliance with visual merchandising standards and the dress code
- Monitor departmental results and profitability against established targets
- Lead by example with reliable, consistent, and professional customer service
Qualifications
- Secondary education completed or equivalent; university degree preferred
- Retail management experience or supervisory experience in services desired
- Fluency in Portuguese; additional languages preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite desired
- Knowledge of beauty and cosmetics products
Skills
Experience
Retail management or supervisory experience in retail or services is desirable. Candidates with strong customer service backgrounds and demonstrated leadership potential may be considered for development into this role.
Education
Secondary education (ensino médio) completed or equivalent; university degree desired. Foreign language proficiency is advantageous.
