Sephora Ajaccio (Sarrola-Carcopino): Sales Manager (CDI 35h) to lead a beauty department, drive sales and coach a retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a store department ('axe' such as Perfume, Skincare, Makeup, Cash or Operations) by organising and planning daily activity to achieve commercial and human-development objectives.
- Drive sales growth through target-setting, performance monitoring and activation of commercial levers aligned with the store development plan.
- Coach, motivate and develop a team of Sales Advisors through on-the-job training, product knowledge sharing and performance feedback.
- Ensure exceptional client experience and service standards across the department; resolve client issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage operational duties for the department including staff scheduling, stock availability, merchandising standards and loss-prevention practices.
- Contribute to recruitment, talent evaluation and implementation of HR initiatives (onboarding, incentives, recognition).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of successful managerial experience in a customer-service led retail environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities with experience coaching frontline sales teams.
- Strong commercial orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive problem-solving and a solutions mindset.
- Flexibility and agility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving retail context.

Experience
Minimum three years' managerial experience in a retail or client-facing environment, ideally within beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training or diploma in retail, cosmetics, business or a related field preferred.
