Sephora seeks a Sales Manager in Nantes Beaulieu, France — full-time retail leadership role (CDI, 35h) leading a beauty area and coaching a sales team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated store area (Perfume, Skincare, Makeup, Cash, Operations), organising and planning daily activity to deliver sales and service objectives.
- Translate the commercial and human development plan into concrete actions, activating growth levers and local initiatives to maximise revenue and margin.
- Coach, motivate and develop sales advisors through individual coaching, product training and performance feedback to build capability and engagement.
- Ensure outstanding client experience by implementing brand service standards, resolving escalations and fostering a client-centric culture.
- Manage operational tasks for the area — rostering, stock control, visual standards and adherence to merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse sales performance and propose corrective actions and promotional initiatives to achieve targets.
- Maintain compliance with company procedures, health & safety and cash handling protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience (minimum 3 years) in a customer-service oriented retail environment.
- Demonstrable commercial orientation with a track record of achieving sales targets and developing teams.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities, with the ability to motivate a diverse sales team.
- Highly organised, resilient and able to operate with agility in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of successful managerial experience in retail or customer-service driven operations, with responsibility for team leadership and commercial results.
Education
Secondary education diploma; vocational training or a degree in retail management, business, hospitality or a related field preferred.
