Sephora — Sales Manager (Apprenticeship) in Avignon: apprenticeship to develop retail leadership, manage a store department and drive commercial performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the commercial lead for a dedicated department/axis (Perfume, Skincare, Makeup, Cash, Operations) in partnership with the store’s supervising manager.
  • Organize and plan daily activity and staffing for the team, aligning schedules and resources with the commercial development plan.
  • Activate and animate growth levers to deliver sales targets and margin objectives for the assigned perimeter.
  • Support and drive the department’s commercial project, proposing initiatives to enhance customer experience and conversion.
  • Coach, motivate and accompany sales advisors toward shared objectives, ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Monitor relevant KPIs and assist in visual merchandising, stock rotation and operational execution to optimise performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3/Bac+4) completed and currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (M1 or M2) in commercial management, retail management or equivalent.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and a genuine interest in beauty retail.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, results-driven retail environment and to adapt to changing priorities.

Experience
