Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome and enthusiastically assist every customer entering the store.
• Provide courteous, expert customer service; identify customer needs through effective questioning and recommend suitable products.
• Share product knowledge with customers.
• Contribute as a productive, motivated member of the store team; recognize and respect colleagues’ work and help maintain a pleasant, organized working environment.
• Identify opportunities for store improvement and possible solutions; perform services as needed and develop expertise in the assigned area.
• Keep up with market trends and competitor activity, and stay informed about store events.
• Follow the LVMH code of ethics and conduct and maintain the confidentiality of information.
• Maintain Sephora’s product, service and event presentation concepts, as well as store cleanliness, maintenance and organization standards.
• Comply with Sephora policies and procedures and strive to serve as a reference in the assigned area.
• Participate in inventory control and quality, complete delegated tasks promptly and accurately, and maintain store security standards.
• Participate in merchandise loss-prevention programmes and help reduce company expenses without compromising service or presentation standards.
• Designated consultants must understand cashier functions.
• Complete all My Sephora Learning training, seek additional training when needed and help train new consultants.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is desirable.
• Beauty experience is desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of a foreign language is desirable.
• Customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Logical reasoning.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and employees.
• Ability to operate the point of sale if authorized.
• Ability to handle and apply products to customers.
• Availability and flexibility.
• Compliance with the dress code.
• Consistent and reliable customer service.
• Committed and proactive approach; customer focus; teamwork; work ethic and values aligned with Sephora; results- and action-oriented approach; willingness to learn.
