Sephora in Washington DC seeks a full-time Sales and Service Leader — lead store teams and deliver exceptional client service. $28–$32/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional client experiences, fostering an inclusive, high-performance environment.
- Drive sales performance through active client engagement, personalised product recommendations and demonstration of expert product knowledge.
- Coach and develop team members via ongoing feedback, onboarding and targeted training in service excellence, loyalty programs and brand initiatives.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory assistance, visual merchandising, store standards and compliance with company policies.
- Support scheduling and staffing to meet peak retail hours and ensure consistent coverage during nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or service environments.
- Proven ability to coach, inspire and develop frontline teams to achieve sales and service objectives.
- Strong sales acumen and client service orientation with excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and disseminate product knowledge quickly and consistently apply brand standards.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
