Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example to inspire and motivate the store team, ensuring exceptional client service and a high-performance culture.
- Coach, develop and provide regular feedback to team members to elevate selling skills, product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Drive sales performance through expert product recommendations, personalised client service and targeted selling strategies.
- Support store operations including inventory control, visual merchandising, stock replenishment and loss prevention.
- Execute daily operational standards — cash handling, POS accuracy, opening/closing procedures and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain flexible scheduling and reliable attendance to cover peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports Sephora’s standards for diversity, belonging and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing service environment (3+ years preferred).
- Proven ability to coach teams to meet and exceed sales and service objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Demonstrated competence in product knowledge, loyalty programmes and delivering personalised recommendations.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment; 3+ years preferred. Demonstrated track record of developing teams and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
