Sephora seeks a Sales & Service Leader in Uncasville, CT to lead store teams and drive sales. $24–$27.50/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to inspire and motivate the store team, modelling exceptional client service and sales behaviours.
  • Coach, develop and deliver regular feedback to elevate individual and team performance against sales and service KPIs.
  • Drive client engagement and conversion through personalised consultations, expert product knowledge and loyalty program activation.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and continuous learning initiatives to maintain high standards of product expertise and service.
  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory control, visual merchandising, loss prevention and upkeep of store standards.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture where diverse perspectives are respected and accountability is clear.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards while maintaining a positive shopping experience for clients.
  • Maintain flexible availability to cover peak retail periods (nights, weekends and holidays) and meet required weekly hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a client-service environment; at least 3 years of total retail/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams to achieve sales targets and delivering excellent client service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and develop others.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and rapidly absorbing product knowledge.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail duties for a full shift.
  • Availability for a full-time schedule (30–40 hours/week) including evenings, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Experience
