Sephora (Liberty Station, San Diego) seeks a Sales and Service Leader — full-time; lead the team and elevate client experiences. $26–$29.90/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team by example to deliver exceptional client service and achieve daily, weekly and store sales targets.
  • Coach, develop and provide ongoing feedback to associates to improve product knowledge, selling skills and clienteling performance.
  • Drive client engagement through personalized recommendations, loyalty program activation and elevated service standards.
  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, stock replenishment and maintenance of store standards.
  • Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives, ensuring team compliance with brand initiatives, promotions and program rollouts.
  • Maintain punctuality and staffing reliability; ensure coverage during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays).
  • Enforce company policies to provide a safe, inclusive and enjoyable shopping environment for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing service environment; 3 years preferred.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams to meet or exceed sales and service objectives.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Rapid aptitude for product knowledge and training delivery; ability to translate product features into client benefits.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to perform duties in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexible availability to work a 30–40 hour full-time schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
