Sephora — Sales and Service Leader in Portland, OR (Downtown). Full-time hourly role at $24.00–$27.50/hr, leading store performance and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales targets through direct example and consistent coaching.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members; provide ongoing feedback, support onboarding and promote continuous learning in product knowledge, service standards and loyalty programs.
- Drive store performance via expert client engagement, personalized recommendations and effective execution of promotional and brand initiatives.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory tasks, visual merchandising standards, housekeeping and adherence to company policies.
- Execute loyalty program enrollment and service initiatives to maximize client retention and lifetime value.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace where team members feel empowered and safe while upholding Sephora’s service and safety standards.
- Maintain reliable attendance and meet scheduling requirements to cover peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing service environment.
- Proven ability to coach and inspire teams to meet or exceed sales and service objectives.
- Demonstrated excellence in client service, communication and interpersonal relationship-building.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; able to meet full-time hours (30–40 hrs/week).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a retail, hospitality or service setting with a track record of coaching teams and driving sales performance.
