Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire store team members by example to deliver exceptional client service and meet sales targets.
- Coach, mentor and develop associates through regular feedback, performance reviews and tailored development plans.
- Drive store performance through active client engagement, expert product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
- Own daily store operations including inventory control, visual merchandising, loss prevention and adherence to store standards.
- Support onboarding and continuous learning programs covering service excellence, loyalty initiatives and brand activations.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure coverage during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays); maintain punctuality and reliability.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture and ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping environment in compliance with company policies.
- Perform physical tasks as required by the role, including lifting and moving merchandise (up to 50 pounds).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a customer‑service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate teams to achieve sales and service objectives.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals through strong client engagement.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first orientation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and adapting to change.
- Ability to learn and transmit product knowledge quickly; proficiency with loyalty programs and brand initiatives.
- Reliable availability for 30–40 hours per week including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a retail, hospitality, or service environment, with demonstrated success coaching teams and achieving sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management or customer-service training preferred.
