Sephora is hiring a Sales and Service Leader in Palo Alto, CA (Stanford Shopping Center). Full-time hourly role at $28.00–$34.30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example to inspire and coach store team members to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve sales targets.
- Drive individual and store performance through expert product knowledge, personalised client consultations and proactive clienteling.
- Recruit, onboard and develop associates; provide ongoing feedback, coaching and performance management to elevate team capability.
- Oversee daily store operations including visual merchandising, inventory control, stock replenishment and maintenance of store standards.
- Support execution of brand initiatives, loyalty program enrolment and promotional activities to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure, compliant and welcoming shopping environment.
- Maintain flexible availability for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and ensure reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or a client-facing service environment.
- Proven ability to coach teams to meet and exceed sales goals and service metrics.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first orientation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and managing competing priorities.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or service settings with a demonstrable record of coaching teams and driving sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training in retail, business or hospitality preferred.
