Sephora seeks a Sales and Service Leader in Manhasset, NY to lead store teams and drive sales. Hourly position at $28–$32/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to inspire and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales targets.
  • Coach, mentor and develop associates through on‑the‑job feedback, performance coaching and structured training.
  • Drive sales performance through expert product recommendations, clienteling and personalised service.
  • Manage daily store operations including inventory control, visual merchandising, stock replenishment and adherence to store standards.
  • Support onboarding and continuous learning programs, ensuring staff proficiency in loyalty programs and brand initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture where diverse perspectives are respected and team engagement is prioritised.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, loss prevention procedures and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain reliable scheduling and staffing coverage during peak retail periods (nights, weekends and holidays).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or customer‑facing service environments; 3+ years preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams to meet and exceed sales and service objectives.
  • Proven sales aptitude with strong clienteling and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
