Sephora — Sales and Service Leader in East Rutherford, NJ. Full-time hourly role $28–$36/hr leading store sales and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to inspire and empower the store team to deliver outstanding client experiences and meet sales targets.
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular feedback, performance coaching and structured onboarding.
  • Drive sales performance via expert product recommendations, personalised client engagement and loyalty program activation.
  • Support daily store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising and maintaining brand standards.
  • Ensure operational compliance with company policies and promote a safe, inclusive shopping environment.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to staff peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment (3+ years preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and disseminate product knowledge quickly and confidently.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain a fast-paced retail workload.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 36 per hour.
