Sephora in Durham, NC is hiring a full-time Sales and Service Leader: lead teams, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences ($24–$31/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example to deliver outstanding client experiences and achieve store sales targets through direct selling and team coaching.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members by providing ongoing feedback, training and support for product knowledge, service standards and loyalty programmes.
- Drive performance through proactive client engagement, personalized recommendations and product demonstrations.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory control, receiving, merchandising standards and loss-prevention practices.
- Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives to ensure consistent service excellence and brand compliance.
- Maintain store standards and safety by enforcing company policies and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
- Ensure reliable attendance and flexible scheduling coverage during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail or service industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of coaching teams to meet or exceed sales and service objectives.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
- Strong product aptitude and ability to learn and share product knowledge quickly.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance required.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail or hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role responsible for coaching teams and driving sales.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or certifications in retail, cosmetics or customer service preferred.

This position is based in Durham, North Carolina, USA, within easy reach of Raleigh.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24 to USD 31 per hour.
