Sephora in Bethesda, MD is hiring a Sales and Service Leader (Full Time). Lead teams, drive sales and deliver client experiences. $28–$32/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to inspire and develop store team members, fostering a high-performance, client-first culture.
  • Coach and empower associates to deliver exceptional client consultations, drive sales conversion and meet individual and store targets.
  • Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives, including product training, service standards and loyalty program execution.
  • Oversee daily store operations: execute visual merchandising standards, assist with inventory management and help maintain store presentation and safety.
  • Manage staffing needs, ensure schedule coverage during peak periods (nights, weekends, holidays) and uphold punctuality and attendance expectations.
  • Promote an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are respected and team collaboration is prioritized.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing service environment; 3+ years total retail/service experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams to achieve sales goals and improve performance metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach to recommendations and relationship building.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; available for 30–40 hours/week (full time).
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on operational tasks.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or coursework in business, cosmetology, hospitality or a related field is advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 32 per hour.
