Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales targets through coaching by example.
- Drive sales performance via expert product recommendations, client engagement and active clienteling.
- Coach, mentor and provide regular feedback to develop team members and support career progression.
- Support onboarding and continuous learning on product knowledge, service standards, loyalty programs and brand initiatives.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory tasks, receiving, stock replenishment and loss-prevention practices.
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising and store presentation consistent with brand standards.
- Ensure scheduling coverage and reliability to meet peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays); meet minimum weekly hours.
- Uphold company policies and create a safe, inclusive and welcoming shopping environment for clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving team performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and able to learn product knowledge quickly.
- Available to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); full-time availability 30–40 hrs/week.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of leadership experience in a retail, hospitality, or service setting, with a demonstrated history of driving sales and developing teams; minimum of 3 years total customer-facing experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in retail, business, hospitality, cosmetology or a related field preferred.
