Sephora seeks a Sales and Service Leader in Albany, NY — full-time hourly role ($24–$31/hr) to lead store teams and elevate client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the store team by modelling exceptional client service and retail behaviours.
- Coach, develop and provide ongoing feedback to associates to elevate sales performance and product expertise.
- Drive sales through personalised client engagement, loyalty programme activation and expert product recommendations.
- Support daily store operations including inventory control, receiving, visual merchandising and maintenance of brand standards.
- Assist with onboarding and continuous learning initiatives to ensure team competency in service excellence and brand initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment that aligns with company policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or customer-service environments; 3 years preferred.
- Proven ability to coach and motivate teams to achieve sales and service targets.
- Strong sales aptitude with a client-first mindset and demonstrated track record of driving results.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver constructive feedback.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holiday periods.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience at the store level in retail, hospitality, or service environments; 3 years preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certifications in retail, business or cosmetology preferred.
