Sephora seeks a Sales and Service Leader in Albany, NY — full-time hourly role ($24–$31/hr) to lead store teams and elevate client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the store team by modelling exceptional client service and retail behaviours.
  • Coach, develop and provide ongoing feedback to associates to elevate sales performance and product expertise.
  • Drive sales through personalised client engagement, loyalty programme activation and expert product recommendations.
  • Support daily store operations including inventory control, receiving, visual merchandising and maintenance of brand standards.
  • Assist with onboarding and continuous learning initiatives to ensure team competency in service excellence and brand initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment that aligns with company policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or customer-service environments; 3 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate teams to achieve sales and service targets.
  • Strong sales aptitude with a client-first mindset and demonstrated track record of driving results.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver constructive feedback.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holiday periods.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience at the store level in retail, hospitality, or service environments; 3 years preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certifications in retail, business or cosmetology preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24 to USD 31 per hour.
