Sephora seeks a Seasonal Beauty Advisor in Melbourne (Southland) for Nov 2026–Jan 2027; part-time, $36.33/hr + super + loadings.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspire and assist customers in discovering beauty products and services tailored to their individual needs
- Engage customers across all Sephora departments including beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and the Sephora loyalty programme
- Participate in cross-training and beauty expert training sessions to deepen product expertise
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Support team members by sharing beauty knowledge and collaborative problem-solving
- Maintain awareness of new products, iconic brands, and evolving beauty trends
- Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously during peak trading times
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to customer and team needs
- Keen observer of new beauty products and trends
- Strong willingness to learn and expand knowledge continuously
- Full availability throughout November 2026–January 2027 inclusive
- Availability across key trading times including late-night and weekend shifts (Thursday–Sunday preferred)
Skills
Experience
Beginner level with previous retail or customer-facing sales experience required; specific beauty industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 36.33 per hour.
