Sephora is hiring a Sales Advisor (CDD, 35h) in Perpignan, France — client-facing role focused on beauty advice, sales and in-store activations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, provide personalised beauty consultations and convert advice into sales through consultative selling and product demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business through clienteling and follow-up.
- Proactively recommend Sephora products and services (makeup, skincare, fragrance) tailored to customer needs to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Create memorable in-store experiences and participate in store activations, events and commercial challenges.
- Maintain merchandising standards, manage stock replenishment and ensure an attractive presentation of product assortments.
- Operate the point-of-sale, handle transactions and assist with daily cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' retail experience, preferably in beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail.
- Demonstrable customer service excellence with a consultative, sales-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiastic demeanour and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
- Flexible availability to work store hours (including evenings and weekends) on a 35-hour fixed-term contract (CDD).
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of direct retail experience, ideally within beauty or prestige cosmetics, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetics, beauty therapy or retail is preferred but not required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Perpignan, Occitanie, France, with easy access to Toulouse.
