Sephora Retail Training Manager in Charlotte, NC – lead dynamic training programs for store teams with base salary $99,025–$110,675 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Facilitate dynamic in-person and virtual instructor-led training programs to store teams, emphasizing leadership development, client service techniques, and selling skills
- Deliver expert-level facilitation through engaging learning experiences that drive skill development, knowledge retention, and behavior change across diverse audiences
- Provide direct in-session coaching and real-time feedback to store leaders and attendees during training sessions, adapting delivery to meet specific market and audience needs
- Leverage virtual training platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and Mentimeter to set up, manage, and execute training sessions professionally
- Hold recurring planning meetings with Sephora and Sephora@Kohl's District Managers to align on market-specific training strategy and gather insights to inform future visit planning
- Provide solution-based feedback to retail business partners to address training gaps and optimize return on investment for all training programs
- Manage administrative responsibilities including communications, scheduling, travel logistics, expenses, and budgets while maintaining current knowledge of store communications and company initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of exempt-level store leadership experience (Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or equivalent higher position)
- 3+ years of proven ability to facilitate learning experiences and engage diverse audiences, including leadership teams and large group settings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and command skills with demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and leverage partnerships across all organizational levels
- Ability to demonstrate managerial courage, share and receive feedback constructively, and role-model client service and leadership standards
- Demonstrated capability to plan and align multiple projects and logistics simultaneously in an autonomous environment
- Proven ability to connect learning outcomes and behavior change to measurable business objectives and field performance
Skills
Experience
3+ years of exempt-level store leadership experience (Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or higher). 3+ years of proven ability to facilitate learning experiences and engage diverse audiences in professional settings. Cosmetic industry experience is preferred but not required.
Education
No degree is required. Cosmetic industry certification or professional licenses are preferred but not required.
