Sephora seeks a full-time Retail Supervisor at its Macquarie Centre store in Sydney to lead a team of 20+ beauty advisors, drive commercial and operational performance, and oversee the client experience. The role includes exposure to beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness categories, onboarding and ongoing development, and a rotating roster covering late nights, weekends, and public holidays. Remuneration is AUD 33.37 per hour, plus superannuation, commission, and weekend and public holiday loading.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 20+ beauty advisors, setting a strong example and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive selling performance to exceed KPIs and develop team capabilities through targeted coaching and development.
- Interpret reporting data to inform operational decisions, working closely with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and fellow Senior Beauty Advisors.
- Facilitate open, constructive team communication, provide impactful feedback, and maintain dialogue with the wider management team.
- Serve as Client Experience Lead (CEL), overseeing client and team matters and making critical store decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee profit and loss, sales forecasting, people management and training, stock control, and visual merchandising.
- Work on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and empower team members.
- Deliver exceptional client service and create a distinctive experiential retail environment aligned with the Sephora brand.
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture through continuous feedback, career development, coaching, learning, and recognition.
- Work a rotating roster that supports store needs, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Extensive retail management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data interpretation and daily reporting.
- A proven record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs, with a results-oriented mindset.
