Sephora is hiring a Retail Supervisor for its Bondi store in Sydney on a full-time, six-month fixed-term basis. The Supervisor leads teams of 20 or more Beauty Advisors, drives sales performance and operational excellence, and oversees client experience and store operations; pay is AUD 33.37 per hour plus superannuation, commission, and weekend and public holiday loading.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead teams of 20 or more Beauty Advisors and foster a high-performance culture and operational excellence.
- Deliver a curated, innovative prestige beauty experience and act as a role model and mentor to the team.
- Drive a high-performance selling culture to exceed KPIs; coach and develop team capabilities.
- Interpret reporting data to inform operational decisions and collaborate with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and fellow Senior Beauty Advisors.
- Facilitate open, constructive team communication, provide impactful feedback and maintain regular dialogue with the wider management team.
- Serve as Client Experience Lead (CEL), oversee client and team matters, and make critical store decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage sales and back-of-house operations across beauty, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
- Manage profit and loss, sales forecasting, people management and training, stock control, and visual merchandising.
- Motivate, coach and empower team members on the sales floor.
- Provide exceptional client service and create an experiential retail environment that embodies the Sephora brand.
- Foster a positive culture through continuous feedback, career development, coaching, learning and recognition.
- Work a rotating roster that supports store needs, including late nights, weekends and public holidays; busiest trading days are Thursday to Sunday.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of retail management experience.
- Extensive retail management experience, including profit and loss management, sales forecasting, people management and training, stock control, and visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data interpretation and daily reporting.
- A hands-on leadership approach and passion for motivating, coaching and empowering teams on the sales floor.
- A strong commitment to exceptional client service and creating a distinctive experiential retail environment.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive team culture in which employees are valued, recognized and supported to succeed.
- A proven record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays.
