Sephora in Marseille seeks a Retail Sales Manager (CDI, 35h) to lead an axis, coach the team and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a commercial axis (Perfume, Skincare, Makeup, Cashier, or Operations) and own the day-to-day organization and planning of the team's activity.
- Deploy and animate growth levers aligned with the commercial and human development plan for the assigned perimeter.
- Motivate, coach and mobilize sales advisors around shared targets to deliver outstanding customer experiences and commercial results.
- Develop and cascade product and service knowledge to the team to ensure consistent selling excellence and challenge achievement.
- Monitor performance metrics and sales KPIs, manage staffing and rosters, and ensure operational compliance including cash-handling and visual merchandising standards.
Qualifications
- Proven first managerial experience in a retail or client-facing environment; demonstrated people leadership and coaching ability.
- Strong commercial orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate diverse teams and foster collective success.
- Agile, proactive and solution-oriented with sound organizational and prioritization capabilities.
Skills
Experience
A proven first experience in a supervisory or managerial role within retail or a service-driven environment; experience in beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail is highly advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) required; vocational training or diploma in retail, business or management is a plus.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.
