Sephora seeks a Retail Sales Manager in Annemasse, France (CDI 35h) to lead a sales axis, coach teams and drive store performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated sales axis (Perfume, Skincare, Makeup, Cash, Operations) and define the commercial and people-development plan for the area.
- Organize and plan daily activity, staff rotas and workload to ensure consistent service levels and achievement of sales targets.
- Animate and deploy growth levers (promotions, product launches, clienteling campaigns) in alignment with store objectives.
- Coach, train and motivate a team of sales advisors on product knowledge, selling techniques and customer experience standards.
- Monitor commercial KPIs, analyse performance, implement corrective actions and report results to store leadership.
- Ensure operational excellence including merchandising standards, stock management and compliance with processes and loss-prevention policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of successful managerial experience in a client‑facing retail or service environment.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and developing team performance through coaching.
- Strong commercial acumen, organizational rigour and capability to prioritise in a dynamic retail context.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Proactive, solution-oriented and comfortable proposing operational or merchandising improvements.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in retail or another customer-service focused environment, with proven success in meeting commercial objectives.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational diploma (BTS/DUT) or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or equivalent preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Annemasse, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France, with easy access to Geneva.
