Sephora seeks a Retail Planning Manager to shape and monitor store projects and oversee major retail CAPEX/OPEX planning, forecasts and analysis. The role also leads or supports strategic projects, manages store-budget procedures and coordinates cross-functional teams. Full-time, on-site office role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans for store projects in alignment with business strategy and monitor progress across new-store, refurbishment, closure and other store-optimization projects.
- Oversee major retail CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including budget reviews, rolling forecasts, budget landing and analysis for store capital expenditure, travel and entertainment, retail expenses and store expenses.
- Assist with or lead major strategic projects, coordinating project information, progress tracking and deliverables for the retail team.
- Manage store-budget standard operating procedures, including investment standards and operating-expense application processes, and collaborate proactively with Finance, Internal Audit, Legal and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead the team’s communication, tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; an MBA and overseas experience are preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in a related field.
- Familiarity with the retail or luxury industry.
- Strong cross-functional communication and coordination experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and Chinese.
