Sephora is seeking a full-time Retail Operations Lead for its Edmonton store to oversee operational execution, inventory, visual merchandising, supplies, cleaning crews and Operations team performance. The role also supports staffing and overnight stock operations, serves regularly as Manager on Duty, and contributes to budget strategy. Permanent position; compensation is CAD 20.00–23.55 per hour, with potential performance-based bonus opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store operations and ensure all operations-focused processes are completed to company standards.
- Manage store inventory, including shipping, receiving, merchandise returns and cycle counts, ensuring processes meet company guidelines and timeframes.
- Manage merchandising concepts and in-store visual displays to company standards.
- Oversee in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback and coaching and escalating issues as needed to ensure agreed standards are met.
- Manage the store’s supplies, testers and samples, maintaining appropriate budgets and quantities.
- Participate in performance management for the Operations team and provide timely feedback for improvement, following up as needed.
- Regularly serve as Manager on Duty and engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor whenever possible.
- Develop budget strategies and demonstrate a strong understanding of store sales performance, staffing, payroll and other controllable expenses.
- Directly manage Operations team members and regularly support operations staffing, the overnight stock team, the operations leadership team and overall store execution.

Experience
Minimum 3 years; the role description also specifies one to three years of experience in a similar role at a store of similar volume, or equivalent internal experience.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
