Sephora seeks a Retail Marketing Project Manager in Neuilly-sur-Seine to lead brand portfolio deployment, visual merchandising, and trade marketing initiatives across France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage 360-degree operational deployment of brand portfolio initiatives, including project briefs, coordination with internal teams, and cross-functional alignment
- Conceptualize, procure, produce, and deploy merchandising furniture, point-of-purchase materials, and trade marketing animations
- Prioritize and execute deployments during peak trading periods (seasonal events, product launches, promotional calendars) aligned with METAPLAN scheduling
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, technical specifications, planograms, and architectural concepts; manage updates based on product launches and merchandising policy (FR/EU)
- Pilot distribution files, retroplanning schedules, deliveries, operational roll-outs, store layouts, quality assurance, and monthly/annual reporting
- Manage associated budgets, tender processes, ROI analysis via Anaplan, Corefa entries, purchase orders, and inventory receipts
- Oversee Print Factory operations: develop optimization strategies, manage catalogue updates, coordinate projects, control stock and budgets, lead annual reviews with procurement and network teams
- Manage store openings and renovations, including project coordination, procurement, installation supervision, budget oversight, and quality control
- Track monthly updates, animation calendars, and destination displays according to team brand portfolios
- Mentor and manage assigned intern, serving as key makeup category stakeholder and strategic project lead
- Serve as primary merchandising advisor for makeup category initiatives; manage team files, controls, and launch of strategic projects with cross-functional coordination
- Develop and implement new operational processes; conduct regular store visits and competitive analysis to enhance visual presentation and propose continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in Marketing or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally in visual merchandising, trade marketing, or retail operations
- Prior experience within a large-scale retail banner or prestige beauty brand
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, project planning, and operational coordination
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) at a professional level
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools
- Familiarity with Anaplan, Corefa, or equivalent operational/financial management systems

Experience
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally in visual merchandising, trade marketing, or retail operations within a large-scale retail environment or prestige beauty brand. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent brand campaigns, merchandising deployments, and cross-functional team coordination in a complex, matrix-driven organization.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
