Sephora Retail HR Program & Governance Manager remote role in the United States. Manage HR programs, policies, and governance with $125K–$140K salary.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify Retail HR programs, policies, processes, tools, and ways of working that are unclear or require improvement, using data, field feedback, and stakeholder input to prioritize interventions
  • Create practical solutions including SOPs, playbooks, toolkits, quick reference guides, templates, and escalation frameworks tailored to retail operational complexity
  • Coordinate Retail HR programs and workstreams with clear owners, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining program roadmaps, trackers, and status updates
  • Partner with Retail Operations, field leaders, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, roles, and decision-making
  • Support rollout plans for new or updated programs, processes, and tools through change enablement resources and communication materials that drive consistent adoption
  • Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve consistency, and leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance operational efficiency
  • Communicate proactively and clearly with stakeholders on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps to ensure transparency and alignment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, HR Operations, Program Management, project coordination, or process improvement disciplines
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and driving outcomes through influence rather than direct authority
  • Experience developing, documenting, or supporting governance routines, operating procedures, policy frameworks, and organizational standards
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills with proven ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including capability to communicate with executive stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach to prioritization, materials drafting, work organization, and execution when resources or processes are not yet established

Experience

5+ years of progressive experience in HR, HR Operations, Program Management, project coordination, process improvement, or related disciplines, with demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives. Preferred experience includes multi-unit retail, hospitality, or field-based operations; program governance and organizational effectiveness; developing SOPs and knowledge management solutions; and AI enablement or workforce technology implementations.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, SHRM, or related certifications are preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 125,000 to USD 140,000 per annum.
