Sephora in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France seeks a Retail Construction Manager, Europe to lead store build projects across the region, managing budgets, schedules and suppliers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies for new store projects, covering both financial and technical dimensions.
- Create, maintain and communicate detailed project schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and align project requirements with cross-functional teams (expansion, design, architecture, retail, merchandising, operations).
- Manage tender processes and procurement in accordance with Sephora purchasing charter and LVMH Code of Conduct; select and manage local contractors and suppliers.
- Perform regular site visits from takeover through to opening to identify, escalate and resolve construction or site-related issues.
- Ensure projects meet budgetary targets, quality standards and delivery timelines; report progress to stakeholders.
- Embed sustainability requirements into store construction following LVMH Life in Architecture principles.
- Deliver final handover and transition projects into maintenance mode; act as primary interface between local teams and central direction.
- Travel internationally to inspect sites, meet suppliers and support local teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing retail construction projects, including planning, coordination and delivery.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects end-to-end while controlling budget and schedule.
- Strong negotiation skills, budgetary control and experience with tendering and supplier management.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously across regions.

Experience
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in retail store construction project management, including site supervision, coordination with design and operations teams, procurement and contract management across multiple markets.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
