Sephora São Paulo (Shopping Cidade Jardim) hiring a Retail Cashier — full-time role focusing on POS operations, cash handling and customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute accurate and efficient point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including gift wrapping and employee transactions, following Sephora cash-handling procedures.
- Perform daily cash operations: opening and closing till procedures, cancellations, price adjustments and returns/exchanges in accordance with store policy (manager approval where required).
- Deliver proactive, courteous customer service: greet customers, provide basic product/store information, engage appropriately during transactions and encourage participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain store presentation and backstage standards: keep checkout area clean and organized and support upkeep of stockroom, staff areas and store facilities.
- Participate in inventory control of store consumables (bags, packaging, labels) and communicate supply needs to the Supervisor.
- Adhere to Sephora and LVMH codes of conduct, security and sample-handling policies and contribute to a safe workplace.
- Complete required My Sephora Learning trainings and assist in onboarding and training new cashiers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail cash-handling experience desirable.
- Clear verbal communication in Portuguese and ability to interact with customers and colleagues professionally.
- Availability and schedule flexibility to support store hours.
- Reliable, consistent customer service behaviour and adherence to dress code and company values.

Entry-level role; prior experience as a cashier or in retail cash handling is desirable but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
