Sephora Canada — Montreal seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor to provide personalised consultations, product recommendations and outstanding retail service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations that respond to each customer’s needs and preferences.
- Educate and empower clients through product knowledge, application techniques and trend insight to build long-term customer confidence and loyalty.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and effective conversion.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, manage stock levels and ensure the sales floor and displays are clean, organised and inviting.
- Remain informed on product launches, new techniques and beauty trends to provide current and relevant advice.
- Work a flexible schedule and be available during peak trading periods (evenings, weekends and public holidays) as required.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer‑service aptitude and ability to develop strong client relationships in a retail environment.
- Passion for beauty products and current trends with the confidence to advise and influence customers.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Physically able to lift and move merchandise up to 22.7 kg and perform retail tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable availability to meet the minimum weekly hours for part‑time staff (15–29 hours/week) and flexibility for peak trading hours.

Experience
Entry‑level position; some prior retail or customer‑service experience is preferred. Previous experience in beauty, cosmetics or makeup application is an asset but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or beauty certifications are considered an advantage.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.10 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
