Retail Assistant – Beauty Advisor role at Sephora Karrinyup, Perth. Part-time position offering $29.06/hr + super, staff discounts, and career development within LVMH.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert beauty advice and product recommendations to customers across all departments including skincare, makeup, haircare, and wellness
- Create a welcoming and inclusive store environment that inspires customers to discover and purchase Sephora products
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of the CRM loyalty program and encourage enrollment
- Assist customers in identifying their individual beauty needs and guide them toward appropriate products and solutions
- Participate in cross-training and attend in-store beauty expert training sessions to expand product knowledge
- Maintain product displays and ensure store merchandising meets brand standards
- Build and nurture client relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills and personalized service
- Collaborate effectively with the Beauty Advisor team to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences
- Monitor new beauty trends and product innovations to stay current with industry developments
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience in retail or hospitality environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and cosmetics industry
- Ability to work flexibly across peak trading times including evenings and weekends
- Availability for minimum 3 full days per week across Thursday to Sunday
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professional development

Beginner-level sales or customer-facing retail experience preferred; entry-level candidates with demonstrated passion for beauty and strong interpersonal abilities will be considered.
