Sephora seeks Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) in Melbourne, Australia; casual position with competitive hourly rate and career development opportunities within LVMH.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and understanding individual customer needs
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and the Sephora CRM program to enhance their purchasing experience
- Demonstrate knowledge of beauty trends and techniques across all departments including beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness
- Collaborate with fellow Beauty Advisors through knowledge sharing and cross-training initiatives
- Participate in in-store beauty expert training sessions to continuously expand product and industry expertise
- Support store operations and maintain visual merchandising standards
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in retail or customer-facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and wellness categories
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members
- Availability across key trading days (Thursday to Sunday) including late-night and weekend shifts

Experience
Beginner-level retail or customer-facing experience required; passion for beauty and product knowledge development valued over extensive background.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; no tertiary qualification specified.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 36.33 per hour.
