Sephora seeks a Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) in Melbourne; part-time with AUD $29.06/hr plus superannuation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspire and assist customers in becoming the best version of themselves through personalized beauty recommendations
- Provide a welcoming and inclusive customer experience by listening to and understanding unique client needs
- Demonstrate extensive product knowledge across beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness categories
- Share knowledge of the Sephora CRM program and help customers optimize their membership benefits
- Participate in continuous learning through online platforms and in-store beauty expert training sessions
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and fellow Beauty Advisors
- Maintain awareness of new products, brands, and the latest beauty trends and techniques
- Support cross-team initiatives and contribute to a collaborative store environment
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Availability for 3+ full days per week including Thursday–Sunday, late-night, and weekend shifts
- Passion for beauty, wellness, and personal care

Experience
Beginner-level retail or customer-facing sales experience; prior beauty or personal care retail experience is advantageous but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 29.06 per hour.
