Sephora seeks a Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) for its Northland store in Melbourne, Australia on a part-time basis, offering beauty expertise and customer engagement opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized assistance to customers, listening to their unique needs and helping them discover suitable beauty and skincare solutions
  • Maintain expertise across all product departments including beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness offerings
  • Educate customers about Sephora's CRM programme and its benefits for loyalty and personalized beauty journeys
  • Observe and communicate emerging beauty trends and product innovations to both customers and team members
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives and attend in-store beauty expert training sessions to expand product knowledge
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and fellow Beauty Advisors through collaborative teamwork
  • Ensure the store environment remains welcoming and well-maintained during assigned shifts

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and foster team collaboration
  • Willingness to continuously learn about beauty products and industry trends
  • Availability to work 3 full days per week across key trading periods (Thursday–Sunday, including late-night and weekend shifts)
