Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service across categories (makeup, skincare, haircare, wellness) to maximise client satisfaction and sales.
- Conduct personalised product demonstrations and consultations, advising customers on benefits, application techniques and routine recommendations.
- Drive clienteling activities including customer enrolment and engagement with the store CRM to build long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Operate the point-of-sale, process transactions accurately and support store opening/closing procedures as required.
- Maintain merchandising and visual standards: replenish stock, execute displays and ensure product presentation aligns with Sephora guidelines.
- Participate in in-store training, cross-training and the online learning platform to expand product knowledge and selling skills.
- Support store operations during peak trading periods, including late-night trading and weekends, to meet team targets and service levels.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in retail or a customer-facing environment preferred; entry-level candidates with a demonstrable passion for beauty considered.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Availability to work key trading periods (ideal availability across Thursday–Sunday), including weekend and late-night shifts.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and ability to translate product knowledge into credible recommendations for clients.

Entry-level; previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent). Vocational or beauty-related certification is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 35.10 per hour.
