Sephora Sydney seeks a Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) in South Sydney — part-time role, $35.10/hr + super, training and career growth opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and personalised beauty consultations across makeup, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
- Drive sales and client retention through active clienteling and promotion of Sephora's CRM membership and loyalty programs.
- Demonstrate and educate customers on product benefits, application techniques and new launches to inspire purchase and brand affinity.
- Support daily retail operations including merchandising, stock replenishment, visual standards and point-of-sale transactions.
- Participate in onboarding, ongoing training and cross-training sessions delivered via in-store coaches and the company’s online learning platform.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Keen interest in beauty trends, product knowledge and desire to continuously learn.
- Availability to work across key trading times, including late nights and weekend shifts (ability to provide three full days across peak trading periods).
- Right to work in Australia.

Entry-level; prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is desirable but not mandatory. Training and continuous learning are provided.
Education
No formal tertiary qualification required; completion of secondary education (or equivalent) preferred.
