Sephora Charlestown (Newcastle, Australia) is hiring a Part-Time Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) — $35.10/hr + super. Join LVMH’s global beauty team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, consultative customer service to inspire and assist clients across makeup, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
  • Drive sales through product demonstrations, personalised recommendations and active clienteling using the store CRM.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, replenish stock, and ensure an impeccable presentation of displays and tester stations.
  • Participate in onboarding and ongoing training programmes, including cross-training and in-store expert-led sessions.
  • Support store operations during peak trading periods, including late-night and weekend shifts, and contribute to team targets and store KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience preferred; demonstrated ability to build rapport and convert sales.
  • Availability across key trading times (Thursday–Sunday), including late nights and weekend shifts.
  • Passion for beauty products and an eagerness to keep abreast of trends and brand innovations.
  • Ability to participate in training and to share product knowledge with colleagues.
  • Right to work in Australia.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; formal beauty or retail training is advantageous but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is AUD 35.10 per hour.
