Sephora UK seeks a Regional Retail Manager in London to lead people, performance and customer experience across the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead people, commercial performance and operational standards across all stores in the London region, translating corporate strategy into area plans and store actions.
- Coach, develop and hold Store Directors and leadership teams accountable for sales, conversion, average basket and other KPIs; deliver agreed targets through monitoring and targeted action plans.
- Recruit, retain and build talent through structured succession planning and partnership with HR, Training and Education.
- Be a visible retail leader on the shop floor (present approximately four days per week), driving service culture through observation, feedback and hands‑on coaching.
- Oversee retail operations and standards including stock and inventory control, merchandising, back‑of‑house organisation, H&S compliance, security and support for product launches and retail initiatives.
- Act as area gatekeeper for retail communications and data, supporting rollout of projects and ensuring consistent brand and customer experience across stores.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of retail experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record leading high‑turnover, fast‑paced stores or portfolios (managing stores with revenues of £10M+).
- Demonstrable experience delivering sales and commercial KPIs (conversion, average basket, sales per sqm).
- Deep knowledge of the beauty sector, current trends and prestige product assortments.
- Valid driving licence and flexibility to travel across the UK.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive retail leadership, including responsibility for multiple high‑volume stores or an equivalent multi‑site portfolio and demonstrated success in delivering strong commercial results.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent commercial experience.
