Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a defined region of stores, providing practical support, troubleshooting, and operational guidance
- Ensure national standard operating procedures, policies, and compliance protocols are communicated clearly and adopted consistently across stores
- Partner with Store Managers to identify operational challenges, escalate issues appropriately, and drive timely resolutions
- Support day-to-day store operations including stockroom processes, inventory management, compliance, safety routines, and standards adherence
- Monitor regional field performance, identify operational trends, and share best practices to strengthen consistency
- Support new store openings from pre-opening planning and team briefings through operational setup and go-live support, including coordination of deliveries and training materials
- Oversee the rollout, testing, and adoption of retail systems and omni-channel platforms such as S1, mobile POS, and Click & Collect, gathering store feedback to improve usability
- Manage vendor relationships for services including cleaning and security, supporting issue resolution in coordination with senior leadership
- Ensure proper processes for supply ordering and budget management, flagging variances and inefficiencies
- Develop and deliver operational training, guidance, and materials for store teams
- Conduct regular store visits to assess standards, coach teams, collect feedback, and report on operational KPIs and improvement opportunities
- Communicate operational updates and changes clearly to ensure store teams understand implications and next steps
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in multi-site retail operations, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors
- Strong understanding of store operations, stock processes, customer experience standards, compliance, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence effectively across store and head office teams
- Experience supporting new store openings or delivering operational projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clarify operational updates and make them actionable
- Advanced organizational and prioritization abilities with a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Confidence with retail systems and tools, with ability to learn and support adoption of new digital platforms
- Willingness to travel regularly within the designated region
