Sephora Canada in Montreal seeks a Regional Manager, Operations & Business Optimization (East). Bilingual role, hybrid, $87,000–$98,000 CAD per year.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and continuously improve store operations tools, resources and processes to drive efficiency, consistency and profitability across Sephora Canada stores.
  • Identify and address operational gaps in payroll and shift scheduling, supply chain and inventory processes, controllable store P&L drivers, and back‑of‑house standards and policies.
  • Partner with district managers and regional directors to prioritise regional improvement opportunities focused on process efficiency, expense control and team capability.
  • Provide hands‑on coaching to store leadership to optimise controllable expenses and support attainment of operational and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with U.S. store opening teams to align North American processes while adapting to local market requirements.
  • Develop and deliver operational training materials and learning sessions; onboard and train new district managers, store directors and operations managers.
  • Serve as primary business contact for logistics and distribution teams to ensure store delivery cadence and drive continuous operational improvements.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic projects that advance the objectives of the operations & business optimization function.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi‑store retail operations with demonstrable results in process improvement, efficiency gains and operational optimisation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (oral and written) to support the Eastern Canada market.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret and present financial and operational data (store P&L, dashboards, inventory and Smart/CSO reports).
  • Proven ability to deliver training, facilitate meetings and build collaborative relationships across cross‑functional teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing competing priorities and adapting within a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle; willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Experience

At least five years of progressive experience in retail store operations with a track record of delivering process improvements and measurable operational results; multi‑store or field management experience preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, operations or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 87,000 to CAD 98,000 per annum.
