Sephora | Dubai — Regional Care Trainer: lead skincare & haircare education across the Middle East from Sephora University, with regional travel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and contribute to the yearly Skincare & Haircare education strategy and roadmap for the Middle East region.
- Own the OGCC Skincare & Haircare training plan, calendar and associated budget; ensure initiatives meet regional needs and priorities.
- Design, update and deliver Sephora University Skincare & Haircare training modules and certification pathways, both in-person and digitally.
- Lead regional implementation of Skincare & Haircare initiatives, align execution with KSA operations and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
- Develop and animate the Skincare Expert Community through monthly engagement, expert events, calibration and performance feedback.
- Provide direct in-store coaching and assessment (approx. 30% of time); model best practice through regular store visits and post-visit feedback.
- Partner with Retail & Store Managers to identify talent, build development plans, track progress and ensure seamless follow-up actions.
- Coordinate and quality-assure multi-brand education events with the Beauty Education Manager and Offer Team, ensuring Sephora DNA is embedded.
- Manage, coach and develop the Regional Care Education Expert to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery across markets.
- Support cross-functional events and initiatives with Marketing/PR and HR when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a retail training role with hands-on coaching and development responsibilities.
- Proven expertise in skincare and haircare products, ingredients and protocols within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated record of coaching, talent identification and delivering measurable learning outcomes.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and public-speaking abilities for both in-person and digital formats.
- Strong multi-project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across retail and brand teams.
- Willingness to travel monthly across the Middle East (Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain) and undertake weekly store visits in the UAE.
Skills
Experience
At least three years in a retail learning & development or education role with direct responsibility for training delivery, in-store coaching and talent development in skincare and/or haircare. Experience managing or mentoring other trainers and executing regional programs is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; professional qualifications in beauty therapy, cosmetology or adult learning/training are advantageous.
