Sephora — Neuilly-sur-Seine: Quality Assistant Intern (6-month internship) in the European Quality team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage customer quality complaints across Europe: record case data, inspect returned products and identify recurring product quality issues.
- Escalate verified quality problems to Quality Study Officers and coordinate remedial actions with brand partners; maintain ongoing follow-up with brands.
- Prepare, interpret and share KPI reports on customer dissatisfaction cases and quality metrics for the European Offer Quality team.
- Perform quality control checks on exclusive-brand products according to departmental procedures: organoleptic, functional and microbiological assessments.
- Report non-conformities and out-of-specification results to Quality Study Officers and coordinate sample submission to external laboratories for analyses.
- Record laboratory results and release blocked references in the internal management tool for market placement.
- Contribute to transversal projects as required: brand dossier management, process optimisation, document-system review and enhancement of internal management tools.
Qualifications
- Scientific educational background (Bac+2 such as BTS/DUT, or higher: master’s degree or engineering school).
- Previous internships in perfumery or cosmetics; prior exposure to product quality functions in cosmetics is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills, rigor and autonomy with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
- Good comprehension and practical use of English.

Experience
Entry-level/internship. Prior internships in the perfumes or cosmetics sector are preferred; ideally some exposure to product quality assurance.
Education
Scientific diploma at Bac+2 level (BTS/DUT) or higher (Master’s degree or engineering school).
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
