Sephora Collection hiring Purchasing & Margin Cockpit Manager in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Lead margin optimization and purchasing intelligence for prestige beauty brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Guarantee optimal margin levels per product, range, category, and region, analyzing variances against objectives and identifying cost drivers (purchase price, volume, exchange rate impact).
  • Serve as internal reference for product profitability and support purchasing teams with cost analysis, including standard pricing, MOQ/BQ effects, volume leverage, and supply chain cost implications.
  • Build and maintain predictive margin models based on regional sales assumptions, product mix, transfer prices, and purchase price forecasts to anticipate future performance.
  • Partner with Market CDG teams on budget assumption construction and guide Purchasing teams on value analysis projects, calculating and monitoring their impact.
  • Define target margins by category and region in conjunction with Finance and Marketing leadership, challenging purchase price variances and supporting negotiation frameworks.
  • Lead cross-functional IT projects for the Sephora Collection finance department and manage a team of two direct reports.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing teams to structure benchmarking tools and support strategic arbitrations and negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Master 2) from a business school, engineering school, or university.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of successful experience in Product Cost Dynamics, Pricing, Revenue & Gross Margin (RGM), or Purchasing roles.
  • Solid command of margin mechanisms and purchasing concepts.
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and demonstrated interest in IT developments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent synthesis and communication skills.

Education

Master's degree (Master 2) in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited business school, engineering school, or university.
