Sephora Project Manager & Launch Coordinator (fixed-term), Neuilly-sur-Seine, France | Product launches and category coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage product and brand launch schedules; coordinate across category management, suppliers, and supply chain teams throughout all launch phases
- Create and maintain product launch documentation in systems; ensure process compliance and escalate issues and improvement opportunities
- Communicate launch timelines and alerts to internal stakeholders; collaborate closely with supply chain on inventory tracking, deliveries, stock flow, and assortment optimization
- Prepare weekly novelty summaries for store teams and manage embargo compliance
- Support assortment management in collaboration with category managers, including pricing, quantities, and depreciation analysis
- Conduct monthly depreciation reviews; implement corrective actions to achieve depreciation targets
- Coordinate with supply and demand planning teams on launch dates, order status, and stock arrival confirmations
- Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives and chair quarterly launch steering committees with supply chain partners
- Develop and execute backscheduling for seasonal gifting projects across three peak periods (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas)
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (category management, supply, retail marketing, e-merchandising) for gifting initiatives
- Manage Trade animations planning; update promotional calendars according to France and Europe guidelines; ensure seamless system integration and inventory control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree +4-5 years or equivalent qualification from business school, communications school, or university programme
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project coordination, supply chain, or category management
- Passionate about the cosmetics and beauty industry
- Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organized, versatile, and detail-oriented mindset with intellectual curiosity
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brand portfolios with strong stakeholder relationships
- Balanced expertise in operational execution and creative thinking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint)

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management, supply chain operations, category management, or related roles within retail or beauty industry.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+4/5) from a business school, communications school, or university programme.
