Sephora seeks a mid-level Product Category Analyst to manage fragrance launches, analyse category and product performance, negotiate commercial and promotional initiatives, and coordinate e-commerce planning across channels. The role is full-time, on an unlimited-term contract, and hybrid; it is an affirmative action vacancy for Black people and/or people with disabilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage fragrance category launches and brands.
- Analyse the market, products, forecasts, and launch plans for products and brands.
- Assess launch performance, inventory, stock turnover, market share, margins, sales, and execution of action plans across physical and digital channels.
- Develop and negotiate initiatives and strategies focused on category development.
- Negotiate promotional initiatives and rebates, and oversee their execution.
- Conduct commercial negotiations and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve the website and app.
- Develop and monitor key retail KPIs and category, brand, and product performance by channel.
- Work continuously with trade, media, and channel teams to develop the e-commerce commercial calendar.
- Support development of the launch commercial calendar and identify new opportunities.
- Monitor category performance against competitors.
- Curate product lists.
- Carry out pricing and promotional routines.
- Monitor product replenishment for stores and the website.
Qualifications
- Completed higher education.
- Intermediate English.
- Advanced Excel.
- Previous e-commerce experience.
- Experience in physical retail.
