Sephora is hiring a Principal Product Manager, GenAI (Remote, USA) to lead generative AI product vision for customer and advisor experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and own the GenAI product vision and roadmap for client-facing and advisor-facing experiences across the end-to-end journey (Home Page, PDP, Basket, Checkout).
  • Drive GenAI strategy as the domain expert, identifying where generative and agentic solutions improve discovery, personalization, decision-making and conversion.
  • Own feature definition and success metrics for AI Beauty Chat and related Shop Path initiatives; translate hypotheses into measurable experiments and product iterations.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Enterprise Architecture to evaluate technical approaches, recommend trade-offs, and guide implementation of production-grade, scalable agentic solutions.
  • Lead rigorous testing, experimentation and metric-driven evaluation to validate impact on engagement, conversion and KPIs.
  • Enable enterprise-wide adoption by educating and advising business partners on responsible, efficient use of AI/GenAI tools and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of product management experience with a proven record of launching impactful products for large, transactional websites.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on GenAI and applied AI product expertise with measurable improvements to conversational and generative experiences.
  • Technical fluency in modern AI patterns including rapid prototyping, agent design and orchestration, and implementation trade-offs.
  • Strong data-driven judgment; experience defining success metrics and running A/B tests, experimentation and qualitative/quantitative research.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills across business, UX, engineering and architecture, with the ability to communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; familiar with product roadmap tools and work tracking systems such as JIRA.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 220,500 to USD 245,000 per annum.
